First recorded in 1771, the original building had a thatched roof and used to be the main meeting point for the village. The building was replaced in 1906 by the present "inn".
This little old "inn" run by Stephen and Lindsay Wales, is set in lovely gardens, with restful decor and comfortable leather seats and stools, has the welcoming atmosphere of a typical English village pub. They offer an extensive menu of good pub food and a broad selection of real English ale. A table booking is recommended!
